Qualifying
The Jaguar seemed showed some good pace in the practice sessions so it was good to see Eddie qualify 7th on grid.
Race
Eddie Irvine had a solid drive in Malaysia and the Jaguar seemed to be handling the circuit quite well. Some good pit stop work by the team allowed Eddie to motor on to another point for Jaguar in 6th. However, Let's hope Jaguar have a better season next year.

Qualifying
The Jaguar was performing much better a Suzuka and Eddie Irvine was one of the stars of qualifying putting his car 7th on the grid.
Race
At the start Jenson Button made a poor one and Eddie was able to move into 6th. He stayed there until the first of the stops but Jenson Button made a better one and was able to get past. Johnny Herbert was also able to get past in the pit stops and so Eddie dropped down to finish in 8th place just behind Johnny Herbert.

Qualifying
Well Jaguar wanted to do well at the first ever US GP, but they were hopeless in qualifying Eddie only managed to get 17th on the grid. It was going to be tricky to do well in the race.
Race
The situation improved for Jaguar during the race with Eddie timing his pit stops well and moving himself up the field. He eventually managed to finish 7th but once again it's been a disappointing season for Jaguar.

It seems to be the norm these days but once again the Jaguar didn't perform in qualifying and Eddie was down the grid in 14th.
Race
Eddie was the first of the race casualties as he had a coming together with Mika Salo at the first chicane. Eddie was forced out by Mika was able to carry on to pits and get his car fixed. A weekend that Eddie will want to forget.

Qualifying
The Jaguar was once again not doing anything spectacular at the Belgium circuit. Eddie was outqualified by Johnny Herbert and was a disappointing 12th on the grid.
Race
Eddie Irvine failed to make much impression on the race either and ended up plodding round to come 10th. So the Jaguar continues to be the disappoint of the 2000 season.

Qualifying
Eddie Irvine qualified his Jaguar in a reasonable 10th place and was hoping to improve on this during the race.
Race
Eddie Irvine drove a good race and was closely following Jenson Button who was in 8th at the start of the race. Eddie was able to get passsed Jenson when Button was forced to take avoiding action to miss Fisichella. However he dropped back at the first pit stops. Jenson Button developed power problems in the latter stages of the race and Eddie was able to pass him on the last lap to take 8th place.

Qualifying
Eddie Irvine was able to qualify quite well in 10th spot and would have been hoping to finish in the points at the Hockenheim circuit.
Race
Eddie made a good start and was able to start making his way though the field. However, when the safety car came out cos of a spectator on the circuit Eddie lost out and dropped down a few places. The rain then caused more mayhem and Eddie was lucky to keep the car on the road to bring it home in 10th spot.

Eddie Irvine was forced to withdraw from the Austrian GP after being giving medical advice to return home for tests after suffering from severe stomach cramps. Eddie Irvine is apparently well and doesn't require an operation. Let's hope you're back on form in Germany Eddie.
Qualifying
Eddie Irvine found some good pace in the Jaguar at the French GP. He put in a good qualifying lap and was in 5th place until he was pipped by Ralf Schumacher in the last minutes of the session. Nevertheless a 6th place was a good basis for the race.
Race
The Jaguar in race set up was a different animal however. Eddie was having trouble keeping on the pace and was soon dropping down the field after a bad start. Jenson Button got past him early and it was downhill from there having to make 4 pit stops which dropped him to the back of the field.

Eddie was having major problems with the handling of his Jaguar at Canada and was outqualified by Johnny Herbert. Eddie could only manage 16th on the grid
Race
The race was what Eddie described as the 'worst race of my career'. Eddie was off the circuit several times when rain came in half way through the race. It was unbelievable that he managed to finish at all. However when he did finish the race he was in a lowly 13th place, which was practically last, as Ralf Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve were only classified for completing 90% of the race.

The Jaguar's seemed to show some better form at Monaco, however, Eddie was only able to put his car in 10th spot on the grid and would need to have a bit of luck to get in the points.
Race
Eddie drove a very good race staying out of trouble and timing his pit stop well. There were many retirements and Eddie soon found himself in a points winning position. Jaguar showed some good reliability and Eddie continued on to take an excellent 4th spot, and the first championship points of season for the team.

Eddie Irvine managed to qualify the Jaguar in 8th place. Not a bad position but should really still be higher up the grid than that.
Race
Eddie Irvine made a good start and was running well in the race. After pitting for wet tyres Eddie was still in 8th place but was having a close battle with Verstappen for 7th position. However on lap 29 Eddie spun the car whilst trying to get past Jos Verstappen, and also put Ralf Schumacher into a spin who was following close behind. Both cars lost their rear wings and were forced to retire from the race.

Qualifying
Once again, Eddie was the better qualifier of the two Jaguar's but he was only able to get 9th spot on the grid after Pedro de la Rosa was moved to back of the field. The Jaguar's should really be doing better than this!
Race
Eddie also made a poor start which let fellow Brit by and dropped him down to 10th spot, followed by a couple of more places for good measure. With retirements, Eddie clawed himself back to finish the race 11th, but nevertheless very disappointing. At least the car did get to the end, but Jaguar really need to do some work to get their pace up.

Jaguar seem to be having all sorts of problems with their cars, and this weekend in front of a home crowd waving racing green flags, it wasn't going to be much different. Eddie Irvine made a reasonable run but was only able to get 9th on the grid.
Race
It was hoped the race would be better, but clutch problems caused Eddie to stall his car in the pits at the 2nd stop, and this dropped him down to 13th position, just behind his team mate Johnny. The car finished the race here, but it was really a disappointing show from Jaguar Racing.

Well Eddie Irvine once again put in quite a good qualifying performance to put the car 7th on the grid and was looking good for a points finish.
Race
Eddie Irvine's race appeared to be going well and was looking good for a points finish in the Jaguar, however, mid-way through the race the car developed a misfire and he was forced to make a pit stop to have it fixed. The Jaguar team did fix the problem by turning something off, and he was able to continue. The car making it to the end but out of the points in 7th place. But reliabilty is improving and it won't be long before Eddie opens his points tally for the team.

Eddie Irvine made excellent use of the qualifying session and managed to get himself onto 6th spot on the grid, however team-mate Johnny Herbert was only 17th.
Race
At the start of the race Eddie did one of his usual blinding starts and managed to push himself past Fisichella to 5th place. It was looking good for Eddie provided the car held up. However the car wasn't handling brilliantly and under pressure Eddie loses the car and he is out on lap 21. Looks like Jaguar still have some work to do.

Qualifying
Eddie Irvine had a successful outing for his new team Jaguar in the first qualifying session of the year. He secured a fine 7th place on the grid just behind the two Jordans in 5th and 6th. Team-mate Johnny Herbert had a dreadful session only securing 20th spot.
Race
Eddie Irvine made a good start in the race and was running well in the race. However on lap 7 he was forced to lift off when the Arrows of Pedro de la Rosa spun infront of him, and this caused the Jaguar to spin, putting him out of the race.
